Ferran Soriano, CEO of City Football Group, shared with us his vision of the future of the football industry along with key insights about the business model that has led them to become the first truly global soccer group.
During his talk, Ferran explained that one of the peculiarities of the City Football Group that has led them to success is the fact that they are “global and at the same time local”, with a club that has global impact and more than 400 million followers, Manchester City, as well as having local clubs in the USA, India, China, Japan, Spain, Uruguay or Australia, offering fans from all over the world the possibility of living their passion for football, live and in person.
Using multiple examples, Ferran delivered a masterclass on leadership and innovation, and divulged a strategy that goes far beyond the world of football
