APPLE TREE has presented a progress report on its Sustainable Growth and Positive Impact Strategy, reaffirming its role as an active driver of sustainable business transformation in Spain.
Purpose and values have been part of APPLE TREE’s DNA since the agency was founded. They continue to shape a sustainability strategy focused on diversity, equity and inclusion; climate action; and good governance. With this report, the agency takes stock of the progress made so far and the commitments that continue to guide its work.
In the words of Carme Miró, CEO and founder of APPLE TREE: “From the very beginning, our work has been guided by a clear set of values. One of the most defining is Goodness, which sits at the heart of our sustainability strategy. Everything we do is driven by the desire to contribute to a more just, equal and sustainable world. Our New Thinking philosophy is closely tied to projects with genuine purpose and real impact for the clients we work with.”
Gender equality, a goal in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Gender equality is a central objective within APPLE TREE’s diversity, equity and inclusion strategy. Alongside internal equity policies, the agency provides financial and professional support to three girls’ football teams: CFF Olympia Las Rozas in Madrid, Women Soccer School in Barcelona, and CE Seagull BDN in Badalona.
This support goes beyond sponsorship. APPLE TREE also offers communication and marketing advice, as well as pro bono initiatives that help the clubs strengthen their visibility and long-term development.
As part of its commitment to celebrating shared values and sustainability progress, APPLE TREE recently held its Goodness Day. The initiative brought together the agency’s more than 150 employees, who visited the sponsored teams in Madrid and Barcelona and learned first-hand about the work these clubs do to support girls who want to play football.
Combating climate change and its impact
Over the past five years, APPLE TREE’s environmental efforts have focused on reforestation in areas affected by wildfires. Each tree planted symbolises a collaboration with one of the agency’s clients, reinforcing a shared commitment to regeneration and long-term environmental impact.
Working in partnership with Bosques Sostenibles, APPLE TREE reached a significant milestone in 2025 by planting more than 5,000 trees, meeting the goal it had set as part of its climate action strategy.
Collaboration at the core of sustainability
At APPLE TREE, sustainability is understood as a collective effort. The agency believes meaningful transformation is only possible through collaboration, which is why it has strengthened alliances with organisations such as the B Corp movement, the UN Global Compact, and EcoVadis.
This commitment also extends to clients and close partners, through control systems, ethical standards and adherence to sustainable practices. By reinforcing its code of ethics and opening an ethics channel, APPLE TREE works to ensure that high sustainability standards apply not only internally, but across its wider ecosystem.
