Carme Miró, CEO and founder of the strategic communication agency APPLE TREE has been awarded the Best Corporate Communication Professional Award by the Impact Awards of Catalonia College of Marketing and Communication. The gala presentation of the awards for communication professionals, agencies, brands and companies took place on June 8 in Sitges.

Carme reacted to the announcement by commenting: “I am very excited to receive this wonderful recognition because it comes from the best professionals in marketing and communication. It is an honour to be valued by colleagues in the profession. But, I must share this award with the whole APPLE TREE team because, in life, you can only move forward when you are accompanied by very good people“.

Carme has spent most of her professional career as a strategic consultant in management, marketing and communication. Since 2007, she has been CEO and co-founder of APPLE TREE, an agency from which she has advised some of the most iconic national and international brands and companies such as Lego, Mahou, Nike, the European Union, Henkel Beauty, Manchester City FC, Radisson Hotel Group, VISA, CUPRA, and many others.

In her work as a consultant, Carme has developed high-impact global communication strategies, such as the sponsorship agreement between UNICEF and FC Barcelona, Nike’s Influencers strategy and the rebranding in China for Radisson Hotel Group (as a single group brand).

Over the years, APPLE TREE has positioned itself as the leading strategic communications agency for innovation and creativity. Carme Miró co-founded Cluster Consulting in 1993. She holds a Master’s degree in economics from the University of Barcelona, where she was the first female president of AIESEC in Spain and an MBA from MIT in Boston. In addition, Carme is one of four Spaniards on the MIT Sloan Advisory Board.
