Hays, a global leader in recruitment and workforce solutions, has appointed APPLE TREE as its strategic communications agency for Spain, Italy and Portugal. In addition to the press office services the agency already provides in Spain, APPLE TREE will now lead Hays’ positioning strategy across its key audiences in Southern Europe.

APPLE TREE’s priority will be to strengthen Hays’ corporate communications across the region in line with its global positioning, “Working for your tomorrow”, helping the company communicate its value with purpose and relevance in a labour market that continues to evolve at speed.

Kelya Ramírez Beltrán, Marketing Director for Southern Europe and the Middle East at Hays, said: “At a time of profound transformation in the labour market, communication and positioning play a critical role in how we create value for the business. Our goal is to reinforce a strategic and consistent narrative across Southern Europe, aligning regional priorities with local relevance and supporting Hays’ growth in key markets. APPLE TREE is the right partner to help us meet this challenge.”

Carme Miró, CEO and Founder of APPLE TREE, said: “We are delighted to support Hays in this new phase, helping strengthen its leadership positioning across Southern Europe and communicate its value proposition to clients at a moment of significant change in the world of work.”

Hays has entrusted APPLE TREE with the development and implementation of its corporate communications strategy across the three markets to strengthen its local positioning. As part of this work, the agency is coordinating the launch of Hays’ 2026 Labour Market Guide, the company’s flagship annual report and a reference point for the labour market, across Spain, Italy and Portugal.
