Gas Verde Sí has unveiled ‘Lógico’, its new nationwide public awareness campaign. Following ‘NADA’, which showed that households can switch to renewable gas without costly home renovations, the new campaign moves the conversation forward by focusing on a simple but powerful idea: common sense.
APPLE TREE was responsible for both the campaign strategy and creative development.
At a time when Europe is accelerating the decarbonisation of residential energy, ‘Lógico’ asks a simple question: if Spain already has infrastructure capable of transporting renewable gas, and millions of homes are already equipped to use it, why not make better use of it?
Using familiar everyday situations and accessible storytelling, the campaign shows that the energy transition can also be driven by efficiency and by making better use of the resources already in place. Its central message is clear: changing the source of energy can make more sense than replacing an entire heating system.
From zero-cost conversion to common sense
The previous campaign, ‘NADA’, successfully introduced a new perspective into the energy debate by highlighting that households with existing gas boilers can switch to biomethane without investing in new equipment, unlike alternative solutions that often require significant installation costs.
Building on that message, ‘Lógico’ broadens the conversation by linking green gas to local energy production, circularity, waste recovery and the efficient use of existing infrastructure.
The campaign is also supported by research showing strong public backing for green gas. According to a study conducted by Salvetti Llombart for Nedgia among 1,500 Spanish households, 72% believe green gas meets their energy needs, while 65% say they would be willing to adopt it. Respondents also gave the concept an average score of 8.4 out of 10.
The attributes most commonly associated with green gas include its renewable and clean nature, its ability to transform waste into energy, and its contribution to reducing environmental impact. In addition, 74% of households see it as an innovative and distinctive energy solution.
“With ‘Lógico’, we want to show that the energy transition can also be built on common sense. If we already have the infrastructure in place, and a renewable energy source capable of making use of local resources, the logical step is to help people understand that decarbonisation does not have to involve complexity or major investment.” Gas Verde Sí explains.
