Meliá Hotels International (MHI) has selected APPLE TREE, the agency that applies NEW THINKING to help its clients increase brand relevance and improve business results, with the aim of improving the positioning, reputation and digital and offline awareness of their brands in the Spanish market. The agency’s team will work especially on the relationship of the brands with the main lifestyle, travel and sustainability media titles.
The hotel group currently has more than 400 hotels with 9 different brands around the world and its brands are structured in three main segments: Luxury Brands, Premium Brands & Essential Brands. The main objective of the APPLE TREE team will be to continue building the company’s position as the leading hotel company in the Spanish market with national and international presence; and to support the company’s communication strategy which is mainly focused on the luxury and premium segments.
Meliá has selected APPLE TREE after a competition in which they have valued the ability to build strong relationships with different audiences and their specialty in the tourism and sustainability sector. Among the agency’s main tasks will be the creation and design of a comprehensive public relations plan for MHI’s main hotel brands and its hotels.
